Addson Blind Fastener

Blind fasteners are a type of mechanical fastener designed to join materials together when access is only available from one side. This makes them ideal for applications where it's impossible or impractical to reach the back side of the joint.
Common Types of Blind Fasteners

Blind rivets: These are the most common type of blind fastener. They consist of a sleeve and a pin. The sleeve is inserted into a pre-drilled hole, and then a tool is used to pull the pin, causing the sleeve to expand and create a tight fit.
Blind bolts: These are similar to blind rivets but use a threaded pin. The pin is inserted into a pre-drilled hole, and then a nut is tightened on the accessible side. This causes the pin to expand and create a secure joint.
Self-piercing rivets: These rivets don't require a pre-drilled hole. Instead, they pierce through the material and then expand to create a joint.

Applications of Blind Fasteners
Blind fasteners are used in a wide variety of industries, including:
Aerospace: Used to fasten components in airplanes, helicopters, and spacecraft.
Automotive: Used to fasten components in cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
Construction: Used to fasten components in buildings, bridges, and other structures.
Manufacturing: Used to fasten components in a variety of products, from electronics to appliances.
